GameNightGPT is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Information We Collect
We collect minimal information:
- Email addresses (when you create an account, or when you subscribe to our newsletter)
- Game rules questions (to improve our service)
Analytics and Cookies
We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. We do not run Google Analytics or any comparable third-party analytics service, and we do not set cookies that follow you across other websites. This marketing site (gamenightgpt.com) sets no cookies at all.
The GameNightGPT app (app.gamenightgpt.com) sets a small number of cookies that it needs in order to work:
- Your session — keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. The app creates a guest session as soon as you open it, so this cookie is set even before you create an account or sign in.
- Sign-in security — short-lived cookies that protect the sign-in process against cross-site request forgery and return you to the right page afterward. These expire when you close your browser.
- Your preferences — remembers which AI model you selected and whether the sidebar is expanded, for up to 7 days.
These cookies are either strictly necessary for the app to run or they remember a choice you made. Blocking them will prevent the app from working properly. The app also loads scripts from Tally (feedback and game request forms), Rollbar (error monitoring), and jsDelivr (a content delivery network), and it is served through Cloudflare, which sets its own security cookie to distinguish visitors from bots. These providers may set cookies of their own under their respective privacy policies.
If we add analytics or advertising cookies in the future, we will update this policy before we do, and we will ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
How We Use Your Information
We use your email address to:
- Provide access to GameNightGPT services
- Send product updates and newsletters (if subscribed)
- Communicate important service information
We will never sell your personal information. We only share data with service providers necessary to operate GameNightGPT (listed below). You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
Data Storage and Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Our service providers include:
- Buttondown for newsletter and email management
- Langfuse and Rollbar for service quality and error monitoring
- Tally for feedback and game request forms
- Cloudflare for content delivery and security
- Cloud infrastructure providers for hosting and data storage
